Welcome to the Kenneth Jones Animal Rights Hospital also known as the Jones Animal Hospital, the only full service Animal Rights hospital advertised in the country. From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave you will be given the utmost care and consideration. We offer complete diagnostic, medical and surgical services. We understand how much your animal companion means to you and we not only focus on the health of your pet, but we also focus on the education of the owner. We encourage all of our clients to ask questions and to be an active participant in the health of their pet. The more our clients know the more confident they are in our ability to promote longevity as well as quality of life. There are no appointments, allowing clients to visit us at any time that we are open without incurring an extra charge. We are also able to give second opinion consultations in all matters. We perpetuate our support in animal rights issues and we strive to give your pet the care it deserves. Due to difficult economic times we also provide medical options regarding the ongoing care of your pet.

Diagnostics

We have state of the art in-house blood testing equipment from Abaxis, as well as digital radiography from Vetel which allows us to obtain x-rays in 9 seconds. Our two ultra sound machines include a Toshiba Nemio 20 and a GE Logic E. We also have both Doppler and Oscillometric blood pressure equipment, as well as pulse oximetry, computerized ECG analysis. To promote education, we enjoy demonstrating our video ear scope to all clients, allowing them to visualize the medical condition inside your pet’s ear canal.

Medical Service

Complete medical examination, follow up diagnosis and overall care are imperative for your pet’s full recovery to health. We provide intensive care with pain relief throughout the day by monitoring and paying personal attention to every patient. We provide care for dogs, cats, rabbits, exotics and local wildlife. The programs we offer are based on the individual needs of each pet in order to promote preventative healthcare, including post natal, pediatric, juvenile, middle age and geriatric care. We provide vaccinations, external and internal parasite prevention, fecal tests, heartworm tests, and nutrtion, behavior and exercise suggestions.

Surgical Service
Surgical Service

We provide both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. We have both laser and electrosurgical equipment to complement our normal soft tissue surgical procedures speeding surgery time while providing less pain, tissue swelling and bleeding. We use the safest human anesthesia, propofol, iso and sevoflurane along with careful patient monitoring with ECG, blood pressure, pulse oximetry. We also have extensive bone plating equipment, both internal and external fixation inventory, along with nitrogen powered drill and saw.
